A superb example of a complete mechanical diving watch, PELAGOS represents an evolution of diving watches shaped by decades of intensive use and is symbolic of an adventurous lifestyle.
The titanium case has all the right assets; screw-down crown, sapphire crystal and helium escape valve and the bezel disc is matt finished ceramic.
Each watch comes with an additional rubber strap, with the colour matching the dial and bezel, and the titanium bracelet features an ingenious, unique clasp. An automatic adjustment responds to changes in pressure when diving and the manual adjustment is a pleasing solution to the every day ups and downs in the size of your wrist.
The PELAGOS LHD or “Left Hand Drive” shines a light on a little-known part of TUDOR’s product history; the development of watches for left-handed divers, for whom the conventional configuration was inoperable. Each “LHD” has its unique number engraved on its case back.VIEW WATCHES
The history of TUDOR diving watches goes back to 1954. The iconic BLACK BAY has become the definitive flagship watch for TUDOR and draws its character from an illustrious heritage. Its distinctive “snowflake” hands are borrowed from watches worn by the French Navy in the 1970’s and helped to distinguish more easily between the hour and minute hands at a glance. The riveted bracelets are inspired by watches produced in the 1950’s and 60’s.
BLACK BAY has led the way in neo-vintage diving watches, an excellent balance of function and style. The BLACK BAY 32, 36 and 41 retain the overall shape, while the slimmer cases and fixed bezels make for a more formal watch which is minimalist and understated.
Since TUDOR announced its first ever manufacture movement in 2015, the BLACK BAY series has expanded alongside the in-house watchmaking, to include chronographs and most notably GMT calibres.VIEW WATCHES
The “Royal” name was first used by TUDOR in the 1950’s, and today it returns as the title for a superbly affordable “sports-chic” addition to the TUDOR range. An integrated five row bracelet and notched bezel give the ROYAL a distinctive modern classic aesthetic, while four different case sizes in either steel or gold and steel, along with fourteen dial options make it extremely versatile. All versions are automatic and the largest, the 41mm, displays the day as well as the date.VIEW WATCHES
Revisited entirely in 2017, CLAIR DE ROSE is bold and graceful all at once. Its “rice grain” bracelet and roman dial are classically feminine, and its blued details, including a cabochon spinel set in the winding crown, evoke watchmaking tradition. CLAIR DE ROSE is available in three case sizes, 26, 30 and 34mm.VIEW WATCHES
In 1926 the brand name “TUDOR” was registered on behalf of ROLEX founder Hans Wilsdorf. Today, TUDOR’s heritage is encapsulated in the 1926 line and the attention to detail found in these superlative watches is testament to TUDOR’s enduring sophistication.
The domed dials are delicately embossed and adorned with applied numerals or diamonds, and the smooth sturdy bracelets alternate brushed and polished finishes across seven rows of links.VIEW WATCHES
